Bridgewalk for LMM

Every year, for the past 10 years, the Lutheran Men in Mission of Northwestern Ohio have upheld a very fun and worthy tradition--walking the Mighty Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day!

 

Last year, the heroic efforts of the Lutheran Men in Mission and the committed and generous support of walkers and their sponsors raised nearly $6,000 to support the programs of the three agencies of Lutheran Ministries of Mercy. Filling Homes, Luther Home of Mercy and Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio were represented by staff members in the 5-mile walk across the Bridge along with members of the Lutheran Men in Mission and several independent walkers who wanted to participate and support a great cause.

Four Agency Golf Outing

The rain didn't stop the Four Lutheran Agencies Golf Outing from taking place last Friday...although some of us did head into the clubhouse to finish the donuts and coffee sponsored by Absolute Pharmacy when the sky opened up and dropped buckets!

Several teams did brave the weather and got all 18 holes in before coming in to enjoy lunch served by the Stone Ridge Country Club chef and sponsored by The Dotson Company.

The Director of Planned Giving holds primary responsibility for gifts of estates, trusts and various other financial avenues that reflect planned and deferred giving opportunities to LMM and its affiliates (Luther Home of Mercy, Filling Homes and Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio).

This is a part-time position.
