Women’s Empowerment Group

The Women’s Empowerment Group will resume after taking the summer off. It has resumed on Thursday, September 6 from 1-2:30 P.M. The focus of the group will be on personal growth and self-knowledge through effective boundary-setting based on the book, “Boundaries” by Henry Cloud and John Townsend.

Participants may call the B.G. Office 419-352-0702 to schedule an assessment prior to attending group. Most insurances including Medicaid can be assessed for group treatment.

Dr. Grossman Joins LSS Family

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) has been a leader in providing mental health and substance abuse treatment

services throughout Northwest Ohio for over 100 years. We recognize the devastating impact of the opiate and heroin addiction epidemic in our communities, and are offering best practice, evidenced based Medically-Assisted Recovery services

Dr. David Grossman has recently joined the LSS family of clinicians in our Toledo office to offer Medically-Assisted Recovery. Prior to joining LSS Dr. Grossman served as the Lucas County Health Commissioner and currently is in a private practice.

A New Service of LSS for Companies in Northwest Ohio

Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio is serving the community in a new and exciting way as the lead partner for an innovative, collaborative, public/private partnership, linked to a network of for-profit companies in Lucas County. The new service is designed to address common workforce needs of the employers and employees.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes

For many years, Lutheran Social Services (LSS) has provided food and encouraging words to thousands in our community who feed their families with the help of LSS food pantries.
