LMM Annual Meeting - Together Toward Tomorrow

On Monday, March 11, the Lutheran Ministries of Mercy--Filling Homes, Luther Home of Mercy and Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio—proclaimed TOGETHER TOWARD TOMORROW the theme of the annual meeting of the Board of Directors at the Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg.

The six-year partnership of the three agencies under one umbrella, LMM, has proven successful in allowing each agency to serve people in need at the same level of quality that they have come to be known for by working together and sharing resources.

Pastor Charles Campbell conducted Board business and acknowledged members Krista Behm, Sharon Dailey, Michael House, Dale Kern, John Rutz and John Shaffer who completed terms. We are thankful for their dedicated service. Incoming Board members were accepted, and they include Michelle Dean, Christine Fletcher, Stephen Lutz, Christina Palmer and Charles Winters and we are equally thankful for their commitment to serving the Lutheran Ministries of Mercy in the years to come.

The invocation for the evening was offered by Bishop Daniel Beaudoin of the Northwest Ohio Synod, ELCA, and the benediction was offered by Reverend Don Wukotich, LMM Executive Director Emeritus. Addresses from LMM President and CEO, Terri Rodriguez, LMM Director of Planned Giving, Karen Mathison, and featured speaker, Reverend Richard Habrecht of the Ohio District, LCMS were enjoyed. Hope Myers and Rebecca Addington, two of the eight recipients of the very first award of the Donald L. Wukotich scholarship were recognized.
