Maumee River “Cruising For Counseling” Event A Success!

steamboatSunday, September 20th, proved to be a day of fun and relaxation for a group of over 50 people who attended the LSS Sandpiper River Cruise. The cruise took in the sights of the riverfront parks, Veteran’s Glass City Skyway Bridge, yacht clubs, homes and historical sites along the Maumee River. Prior to embarkment, entertainment was provided by an ensemble from the Toledo School for the Arts. We greatly appreciate the generosity of those who donated or hand made items for the silent auction, as well as Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for the provision of boatsupplemental funding for this event. All proceeds from the event benefited the Northern Region Counseling Assistance Fund.

Thank you to all who attended!
