97th Annual Meeting a Delight!The 97th Annual Meeting, held March 31, 2008 at the Park Inn, Toledo, Ohio, was a delightful evening of sharing the story of what God has done through the ministry of LSS of NW Ohio!
Featured speaker, Ms. Jackie Mayer, Miss America 1963 inspired all who attended in her story of triumph over trauma. Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, Ms. Mayer has received numerous prestigious awards for her work as an inspirational speaker dedicated to helping stroke survivors and their families overcome this devastating illness.

We were also blessed to hear the courageous story of "Allison", a young women who shared her story of positive, life affirming changes made with the help she received from the caring staff of LSS.
The Moody Flutes provided beautiful music as guests visited with clinicians, staff and volunteers of LSS in the atrium area prior to entereing the dining room to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the outstanding staff of the Park Inn. Each of the LSS programs prepared a basket reflecting the services they provide at the nineteen locations throughout the twenty-four counties of Northwest Ohio.
