Weekend Celebration Scheduled for May 3rd & 4th in Fremont!

YOU are invited to the Lutheran Social Services of NWO weekend of celebration on May 3rd and May 4th, 2008 at the churches in the Fremont, Sandusky County area. LSS will make speakers available to tell the LSS story by offering preaching, Mission Moments or other programming at no charge to the congregations. Following services on Sunday May 4th, 2008 there will be an Open House at the LSS Fremont office on 512 E. State St., Fremont, Ohio from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We will be celebrating the completion of the parking lot resurfacing, exterior improvements to the building and the mortgage burning as we re-dedicate the building to the ministry of LSS Fremont. Staff, board members and Advisory Committee members will be ready to welcome you! Congregations, pastors and elected officials from the community will also be invited. Food will be provided by Nick’s World Famous Hot Dogs (and hamburgers) sponsored by the Sandusky County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Shots-4-Tots

Crossroads Family Resource Center offers Shots-4-Tots at Reformation Lutheran Church (4543 Douglas Rd., Toledo) every third Tuesday of the month. This service is available from 2-4 p.m. and is free for all children up to age 18. Please bring your child’s shot record.
