Be a Guardian Angel . . .
The Volunteer Guardianship Program Continues to Grow!
Did You Know . . . the Volunteer Guardianship Program is an advocate for Lucas County Senior Citizens Levy and has participated in several events?
The levy has effectively funded a portion of the program. The program was also represented at the Disability Awareness Day Expo and the Luther Hills/Luther Ridge Senior Health Fair. Currently, we have 19 active cases and 7 who are waiting for a volunteer or a court hearing date.

Students are Angels too!
The Volunteer Guardianship Program has greatly benefited from the time and talents of three students from the University of Toledo: Rebecca DeRubeis, Melanie Farris and Jamie Wormus. Their contributions have assisted with the program’s continued success. They will be with us through mid-December, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors. Thank you ladies!
